Whitetail Deer

Rival Outfitting Ltd.’s Whitetail Deer hunt taps into a region with a storied history of robust whitetail populations and exceptional genetic quality. Known across British Columbia for its impressive whitetail numbers and trophy-class bucks, our hunting area produces steady populations with shooter bucks averaging 135”–140” in score, with a good chance at even bigger. The rich genetics here have long made the Christian Valley a premier destination for hunters seeking a great Whitetail hunt.

Our Whitetail hunts are conducted during the rut, primarily using trucks and ATVs to access prime hunting grounds across private and public lands. Many deer are spotted through a “spot and stalk” approach, capitalizing on the rut’s frenzy as bucks actively chase does. However, we also use another effective tactic of baiting with salt, mineral, and feed at strategically placed stands and blinds, where patience is key to wait out a mature buck. With at least 1 guide per 1 to 2 hunters, we ensure a tailored experience in chasing a trophy whitetail.

For added excitement, hunters can purchase add-on species licenses on a trophy fee basis—Mule Deer, Elk, Black Bear, & Wolf.
