This is your chance to go after one of North America’s unique wild cats with our skilled hounds and houndsman for an experience in the mountains like no other. It’s a thrilling, one-of-a-kind hunt that puts you right in the action, chasing a crafty predator through the high country.
6 Day - Lynx Hunt
Hunt dates run from November 15th to February 28th.
Lynx populations in our area are solid, typically finding them at around 4,500ft or higher in elevation, feeding off the rabbit population. We get started first thing in the morning, driving, ATVing, or snowmobiling through Lynx territory to find fresh tracks. Once we cut a good track, our hounds take over the chase to tree the cat. We’ll get you as close as possible by snowmobile or ATV, then walk you in to the tree—anywhere from 100 yards to a couple of miles one way. If snow conditions accumulate to the point the dogs are unable to travel, an electronic predator call can be used on this hunt as well. With 1 houndsman/guide for every 1 to 2 hunters, you’ll get a personal, action-packed hunt for this elusive cat.
For added excitement, hunters can carry tags for these add-on species on a trophy fee basis- Bobcat, Whitetail Deer(if open), wolf.
